New Construction In Charlotte County!

Are you thinking about moving and wonder what new construction homes Charlotte County has to offer? In this video, I'm going to walk you through the top three new construction communities in Charlotte County. We’ll look at each area’s location, amenities, and costs so you can choose the best new home for you.

Kings Gate

While there is a ton of new construction in Charlotte County, we’re going to look at the ones that stand out. The first community you’ll want to check out is Kings Gate, located in Port Charlotte. Kings Gate is a community that offers easy access to beaches, marinas, airports, and so much more—all of which are anywhere from 25 to 35 minutes away.

Kings Gate is a gated neighborhood for ages 55 and up. It’s also a deed-restricted community, which means it has an HOA. You’ll have access to an Olympic sized pool, tennis courts, resident clubs, and social events. What's even cooler about this community is the all-volunteer Neighbors Helping Neighbors Club. This fosters a culture of kindness and caring throughout the neighborhood.

When living in Kings Gate, you even have a full-service restaurant. Located in Port Charlotte off of Kings Highway and Westgate close to 75, you will definitely need transportation. This community is about 45 minutes from Fort Myers Airport and 56 minutes to Sarasota Airport. Don't you worry: Punta Gorda and the beaches are 15 to 30 minutes away.

All of the homes in Kings Gate are two bedrooms, two baths, and single-levels with square feet from 1,400 to 1,600. A home here will cost you about $325,000 to $403,000.

Tropical Gulf Acres

The next new construction area you should check out is Tropical Gulf Acres, located in Punta Gorda. It’s just west of US Highway 41 off of South Twin Lakes Drive. Although Charlotte County offers public transportation, it's best to have your own vehicle to get around.

Tropical Golf Acres is 15 to 20 minutes from Port Charlotte, about 25 minutes from Fort Myers, and 45 minutes to Venice. If you travel for work and need an airport, it’s about 30 minutes from Southwest Florida International Airport and about 10 minutes from Punta Gorda Airport.

You're also close to waterfront dining and shopping, allowing you to enjoy a stroll through Fisherman's Village and charming shops throughout Punta Gorda. If this sounds like the place for you, Tropical Golf Acres offers four bedrooms, two full baths, and 1,650 square feet starting at $314,000. Remember, with upgrades and modifications, the sale price will increase.

Winterhaven

Heading back north to Port Charlotte, Winterhaven of Westport Villas is waiting to welcome you home. A charming single-level new construction home here offers open dining space with a gourmet kitchen. The main bedroom offers a walk-in closet and dual vanity ensuite. The starting price of three bedrooms and two full baths with a two-car garage—at 1,524 square feet—is $291,000.

Westport Villas is a masterplan community surrounding Centennial Park and includes an expansive recreational complex and new Aquatic Center. The builder is Ryan Homes, which also offers included features such as granite or quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances, and exterior maintenance. The community is located just off of SR 776 in Port Charlotte.

This area is a great place for active individuals and families. If you're a beach person, then you're about 26 minutes from Englewood Beach and 43 minutes from Venice Beach. Additionally, Punta Gorda airport is about 36 minutes away, while Southwest Florida International Airport is about an hour away.
